FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS - fea services

The Finite Element Analysis method is a powerful engineering tool, that allows modelling and analyzing complex physical systems, in such a way that it is possible to predict their performance, without the need to turn to the construction of prototypes.

Through the simulation of calculation models, we manage to validate, optimize and conduct failure root-cause analysis based on some mechanical requirements or a design code (Design by Analysis) established for any mechanical or processing equipment.

ASME VIII Division 2, AD2000 S4, EN 13445 -3, API 579, etc.

Analysis Capabilities:

> Structural, linear, non-linear, buckling analyses with assemblies or complex contacts.

> Thermal-Structural Analysis (in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, heat recovery systems, internal combustion engine, etc.) evaluating phenomena such as heat transfer modes, phase change (melting, freezing) or internal heat generation.

> Fatigue analyses and evaluation for short & long term thermal / pressure loading cycles, (start up, shut down)

> Dynamic Response, Spectral, Harmonic, Modal Analysis, Determination of Natural Frequencies.

> Pipe stress analysis to evaluate structural responses and stresses of piping systems to international codes and standards. Evaluation of a piping system’s response to thermal, deadweight and pressure loads, effects of wind, support settlement, slug flow, seismic loads, water hammer and wave loads. Also stress analysis capabilities include dynamic analysis to evaluate modal, harmonic, response spectrum and time history analysis.

  • North Africa Finally Sees the Light

CAIRO, 2010 Apr 27 - Europe's appetite for renewable energy and a shifting tide in domestic energy policies could turn North Africa into major exporter of solar power by the end of the decade.

  • ASME Code and PED - The new Section VIII Division 2 - really everything new?

    1. Summary

ASME has published a completely rewritten Section VIII Division 2. Under the PED this Division evidences advantages compared to the preceding editions. Numerous changes have been compiled to a modern pressure vessel Code, which has the potential for an international best-seller. Compliance with PED is not guaranteed, but made easier than in the past. Now it is up to the users to vote for the success of the new Division 2.
